Instructions:
Your task here is quite simple.  You will see two digits.  You have to
decide if they have the same "parity" (odd versus even).  If they are both
even, or if they are both odd, then you say SAME.  If one is odd and one is
even, you say DIFFERENT.   The two digits are presented to the left and
right of a word.  You don't have to pay any attention to the word -- your
task involves only the digits.

There are two response keys marked SAME and DIFFERENT.  Please keep the
index and middle fingers of your dominant hand rested on these response
keys throughout the experiment.

So, for example, if you see

                 4   FISH      7

  you'd press the DIFFERENT key (key N).  if you see

                 6   CHAIR   2

you'd press SAME  (key M).

That's all there is to it.  Please try to respond as quickly and accurately
as you can.  The experiment will not last very long at all.  Thanks for
